Last updated: 08-05-2026

Welcome to Oskoole. These Terms and Conditions explain how you may use our website, platform, tutorials, digital literacy tools, and Brain Skoole cognitive mini-games.

By using Oskoole, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

1. About Oskoole

Oskoole provides digital guidance, learning tools, tutorials, and cognitive mini-games designed to support adults, older adults, organisations, and care-based communities with digital confidence and everyday technology use.

Oskoole is an educational and support platform. It does not provide medical, psychological, financial, legal, or professional advice.

2. Accounts and Access

Some parts of Oskoole may require an account. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for any activity under your account.

If you use Oskoole on behalf of an organisation, aged-care provider, community centre, or resident, you confirm that you have permission to do so.

Oskoole may offer different access levels, including administrator, supervisor, and resident accounts. Access to features may depend on your role or subscription.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Oskoole respectfully, lawfully, and only for its intended purpose.

You must not:

  • misuse, copy, hack, damage, or disrupt the platform
  • upload false, harmful, offensive, or unlawful content
  • access another person's account without permission
  • use Oskoole to exploit, mislead, or harm vulnerable users
  • reverse engineer or reproduce Oskoole's software, content, or design without permission

We may suspend or remove access if these Terms are breached.

4. Content and Learning Materials

All tutorials, mini-games, designs, text, images, branding, videos, and platform content belong to Oskoole or its licensors unless stated otherwise.

You may use Oskoole content for personal learning or authorised organisational use. You may not sell, copy, redistribute, or modify Oskoole content without written permission.

5. Brain Skoole and Wellbeing Features

Brain Skoole and related activities are designed for engagement, learning, and cognitive stimulation. They are not medical tools and should not be used to diagnose, treat, prevent, or measure any health condition.

If a user has health, cognitive, accessibility, or wellbeing concerns, they should seek advice from a qualified professional.

6. Payments and Subscriptions

Some Oskoole features may be free, paid, subscription-based, or offered through an organisation.

Prices, billing periods, inclusions, and cancellation terms will be shown before purchase or agreed in a separate contract.

Where Australian Consumer Law applies, nothing in these Terms limits your rights under consumer guarantees.

7. Privacy

We collect and use personal information according to our Privacy Policy.

This may include account details, usage data, learning progress, support requests, organisation details, and platform activity. We aim to handle personal information responsibly, transparently, and securely.

8. White-Label and Organisation Use

Where Oskoole is provided through an organisation, such as an aged-care provider, retirement community, library, or partner institution, that organisation may manage user access, branding, permissions, and subscription arrangements.

Organisation administrators and supervisors must only access user information where authorised and necessary for support, safety, reporting, or service management.

9. Availability and Changes

We aim to keep Oskoole reliable and useful, but we cannot guarantee that the platform will always be available, error-free, or uninterrupted.

We may update, improve, remove, or change features from time to time. Where a change materially affects paid access, we will try to provide reasonable notice.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Oskoole is not responsible for indirect loss, loss of data, loss of profit, or damage caused by misuse of the platform, third-party services, user error, or events outside our control.

Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law.

11. Third-Party Services

Oskoole may use or connect with third-party services, such as payment providers, AI tools, text-to-speech providers, analytics tools, hosting services, or external websites.

We are not responsible for third-party services, and their own terms and privacy policies may apply.

12. Ending Access

You may stop using Oskoole at any time. If you have a paid account, cancellation terms will depend on your subscription or organisation agreement.

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, misuse the platform, fail to pay required fees, or create risk for Oskoole, users, or partner organisations.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, unless another agreement states otherwise.
